The Metropolitan Bank Building is a historic two story building in Rego Park that was once comprised of multiple smaller stores that were later combined into one large pharmacy space. Mascioni & Behrman was tasked with defining the infrastructure to connect the former bank space with the pharmacy space on the first floor, and later subdivide the second floor into multiple medical offices as well. The A/E team approached the redesign of this historic building with the utmost attention to preserving its historic look, while maximizing the functionality and modernizing the infrastructure.
